Do you love burgers and try out any flavour when your craving for the famous food strikes? Then how about an all-black burger? Will you go ahead or decline?
True, the all-black burger actually exist. And where? In the land of the rising sun Japan.
Burger King Japan will soon serve the new all-black burger. It has black buns, sauce and even black cheese. Really? It's like walking a thin line between delicious and gross.
To give the flavourful burgers a local twist such experiments have been done many times in the past. But an all-black burger is like seting a new benchmark to innovation.
The all-black burger sold at Burger King outlets are titled the Premium Kuro (black) Burger in Japan. Sale of Premium Kuro burgers started in 2012, when the food chain started colouring the bread with bamboo charcoal and used squid ink in the sauce for the dark hue.
And last year, Burger King launched the 'Black Ninja' Burger, with bacon.
And in 2014, even the cheese turned black. And where did they get black cheese? They just made it by smoking regular cheese (meant for burgers) using bamboo charcoal.
Care to get a bite of the all-black burger with these new inventions. You can avail them from September 19 onwards. But you have to travel all the way to Japan. Excited?
